Meet Lauren

Personal:

Lauren defines herself as a Christian, a wife, a mother, and a social worker. She believes in transformation and has first hand experience in the struggle this life can bring. One of her strengths includes embracing the many unique individuals of this world, digging deep together, and discovering hope. When she is not running kids around, or drinking iced coffee, this helping profession is where she feels called, and where she spends a large part of her time. She is personable, ready to connect, and holds professionalism with the highest regard. She is eager to meet you if you’re ready to get started.

Educational History & Professional Endeavors:

Lauren completed undergraduate degrees in social work and psychology from Indiana Wesleyan University. Lauren went on to obtain her master’s degree in social work from Indiana University.

She completed internships focused on mental health and hospice care work, as well as children’s grief while pursuing higher education. Lauren completed her master's in social work practicum, with Erin’s House for grieving children, spending the majority of her time facilitating group programming with children of all ages.

She has completed almost 9 years in community mental health, holding case management/skills coaching positions, as well as intake therapist and licensed therapist positions, and has participated in a supervisory role.

Lauren currently continues her career in the community mental health world outside of private practice, working with a variety of individuals, families, and couples of all ages. Lauren holds a trauma-informed lens with the patients she serves, and utilizes EMDR with numerous patients of varying ages, providing treatment for trauma/stress related needs.
